I am Captain Fawkes the Marine Superintendent at Morton Salt /Rohm&Hass I can assure everyone that I can berth this super tanker just like I berth ships over 800 feet without tugs.
Knock Nevis is the largest ship ,but now its a FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading)
WOW ! Oh Boy is it big ! With a bit of rethinking a full 18 hole golf cource can be laid for the entertainment of sailors and all those who care.
less than half a kilometer, actually.
Where do I get an application for a job onboard this ship?
small FIAT needed to "travel" and check whole lenght of deck :) 1km to bow and back, several times a day is not easy even for nordic-walking specialists :)
i would really love to serve as a cadet on board this vessel. pls how can i apply to get a sea time.
any way this giant ship no longer the largest ocean going ship now Ti Asia take here place as largest ocean going ship after she became a FPSO (Floating production Storage and Offloating)
