Interesting comparison of food shown in the menu and the orignal food served to the customer. On the left is the Menu photograph of the food and on the right is the actual food served to the customer.
What kind of ignorant moron would think that anything you get from any type of restaraunt would be like whats on the menu? Hasn't anyone heard of Advertising Tricks like take for example a cereal commercial instead of milk they use glue because it looks better c'mon people find something worth wasting time over
Would have been nice if the real pics had similar lighting to the "advertised" pics. In most of those pictures, the difference in lighting overshadows the difference in product.
It is NOT true that they use plastic food. Check out the law first before you speak. By LAW the food shown MUST be the same as what the restaurant serves. They may take hours prepping it, and making sure it is perfect, but they cannot use "plastic" food.
That first pic is bullshit the advertising picture is of Taco Bell's nachos bell grande, and the pic being used for comparison is of Del Taco's macho nachos. Holy shit you mean the adds for Taco Bell don't look anything like the food you ordered from an entirely different restaurant? Great journalism in action
Unfortunately, it is only in the states like that. Being military, I have had American fast food in several other countries. I was amazed in South Korea when I got a Big Mac that looked just like the picture. Only then do you realize that it is hard to find some people that take pride in their work.
I think it's a good idea to have food artists. Those people who get bfa's are probably more hurting for money than the burger and fry guys behind your fast food counter. It is true that advertisements definitely use non-food as food. Now we have to see the lawsuits coming with these pictures as evidence in court!
Most of the time photographers even use different stuff to represent sauce etc, or glace something to make it look spiffy. It's not that weird that irl food looks different than in a picture.

Eee, naciągane! Wiadomo, że na reklamach wszystko inaczej wygląda. ;-P A jak jeść się chce, to burgera i tak się zje.
omg o_O
that would be correct
The only thing that stays true to the advertised promise is how bad you have to take a dump after eating this.
Hey! Speak English damnit!

FYI often the pics used for advertising are not even edible and often are made out of plastic.
THen add to the fact you are paying "sandwich artists" near minimum wage and are more concenred about quick service then appearance

Note to self: Don't comment on possibility of plastic food ever again. One never knows who gets pissed about such things. Loser.
Hey Scott... Suck it.
I knew a person that use to paint and doctor up those burgers for ads and you can't even eat them after there done

If only they could make the plastic food taste as bad as the real thing...

Can't you at least give wvsr some credit?? Or are you too lazy to come up with your own ideas??
