is there a standard as to which gender goes on which side. I see a lot of public facilities, and some have the men on the right and some have the ladies on the right. Is there a "proper" way ?

The most public restrooms ive senn, had the womens on the right and the men on the left
I guess its the other way around in the uk
I think half of them are bullshit
