I eat bacon all the time. I am 5'9" and have never weighed more than 130 lbs, healthy blood pressure, iron levels, etc are all perfect. I'm healthy and active. I certainly avoid bacon with nitrates/nitrites in it, and would prefer to someday raise my own livestock. I read about a man who raised pigs, ate lots of pig meat and lard on a daily basis, and lived to be over 100 years old and never suffered dementia or mental deterioration.. Do some research before you make assumptions! Google the Weston A Price Foundation.
