The one part of your wedding you should never skimp on is the photography. It’s always better to shell out a boatload of cash for a good professional photographer than end up with amateur non professional photo shopped pictures of your big day as the couples in these pictures discovered.
some of these are pretty cool, even if .ru-kitschy. they're probably a lot cooler if you're russian and understand them. and/or are drunk. some of them couldn't even be helped by alcohol though...perhaps lsd?
It is so easy to be critical, isn't it? I've seen lots of bad, mainstream wedding photography... so much that you wouldn't have room to post it, then tear it down here. As another great photographer said, "Beauty is in the eye of the checkbook holder."
This could just be as easily called "Professional Wedding Photography in Eastern Europe". This crap is by no means amateur, and my wealthy Russian brides constantly ask for this sort of thing (although I never comply).
The major problem is, I have no doubt that the brides and grooms in some of these pictures actually LOVED the results. There's a general lack of taste to be overcome before people understand why "I own a camera" does not equal "I am a photographer."
Unfortunately I have to agree with many of the other comments. These are probably typical for a certain culture, and also probably not the result of another GWC. Looks like all the same photog, obviously from E. Europe. The photog probably makes money. Why not use photos from real amateurs using P&S cameras?
I guess everything eventually comes full-circle. These photos are just like the pros took in the 1970s... until they became more sophisticated. If this is what you want, get a photographer from (no offense) Mexico... CHEAP!!
Hmmm. Some very interesting ideas going on amongst all the naff stuff. I agree wholeheartedly about the sentiments of hiring a professional. Not the sort of photos I'd really want of my special day tho'.
I think it would have been nice to see photos people might actually want that AREN'T photoshopped or edited to death. I mean- these are a little absurd. I think a lot of them are in bad taste and look very "hey I just got photoshop on my computer.. let's see what all it can do" esque.

ZUADO DEMAIS!!
Bizarre, ugly, bad taste, bad ... example of how not to do!
Terrible
My god they're shit.
Surely it was obvious to the bride and groom that something was wrong when he got his iphone out to take the photos...
Wow. I wish this was limited to bad photography. Someone actually put some work in with Photoshop to realize their vision of poor taste. Wow.

ughhhhhhhh seems like a lot of the photos are from the same photographer!
Wow, these are hands down the creepiest wedding photos I've ever seen.

Seems the newly-weds are active participants. This could just be British humor taken too far...
