It's funny because it's true. The pics are actually more flattering.

You have to make $200k to be marginally middle class here. Otherwise, you'll likely live in a dilapidated walk-up with a few random roommates. Social life of transplants often seem to revolve around co-workers.

It's a nice city in it's own way, but comfort, convenience, cleanliness, and courtesy don't come cheap.
