Stairway Cinema in Auckland, New Zealand
Design collective OH.NO.SUMO created this stairway cinema in Auckland (New Zealand), which turns a busy street corner into an outdoor pop-up cinema. The micro-theater offers space for seven people. The movies can be chosen in advance through social media channels via smartphones and other gadgets.

This is just awful!!! Cold, uncomfortable and no doubt very drafty. Yuk. I doubt that blocking a buildings stairway is a legal practice. Also film and DVD screening rights prohibit exhibiting product in a public place. There are many laws surrounding this issue. Good luck.
Why not support your local independant cinema instead. It'd be a damn site more comfortable!!! And you will be helping keep local people in local jobs!!
