A Manmade Tropical Island Resort

This abandoned aircraft hangar in Krausnick, Germany got a giant makeover and was transformed into a beach resort/waterpark. 29,000 tropical plants make an artificial rainforest that is full of exotic birds. The resort also pumps natural rainforest sounds through hidden speakers. Tropical Island Resort complex has a constant air temperature of 25 °C (77 °F), produces its own artificial sun, and is open all day, every day of the year. It’s 360 meters long (1181 feet), 210 meters wide (689 feet), and And 107 meters tall (351 feet), which is tall enough to enclose the Statue of Liberty.

The hotel has been open since 2004.

This place is absolutely breath taking. Beautiful would be an understatement.
